In a twinkle, we survived 2020, and suddenly, it's almost the end of 2021. It's been slow, yet time passed fast too. "Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2022 – Shine a Light and waterfront promenade light installations" 💡The Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2022, in support of the #SGTogether movement, sees the return of Shine a Light, an inspirational light display at The Promontory 💡The Shine a Light display features 60 light beams in a circular formation to be projected from The Promontory, representing strength in diversity as we rally around one another to navigate the pandemic 💡Each week from 1 to 28 Dec, Shine a Light will light up in a different colour to spotlight a different cause supporting various vulnerable groups in Singapore. 💡💡From 29 to 31 December, the display will light up in magenta to represent the harmonious spirit of #SGTogether 💡Shine a Light will start at 8.45pm on 1 Dec, and subsequently run from 8pm to 10.30pm nightly till 31 Dec (extended showtimes till 11.45pm on 31 Dec) 💡To add to the festive cheer, parts of the Marina Bay waterfront promenade will also be lit up with special light installations and projections. This includes a kaleidoscope of colours on a treetop canopy, a projection of a galaxy of stars, lighted inflatable bird structures, and an abstract clockface projection display.
