i already talked to @daddariossmile about this, but alec coming back to the institute after magnus told him to leave, and izzy finds him in his office, crying.

“iz, i love him so much but what if that isnt enough? what do i do.”

meanwhile magnus is sitting in his loft, whiskey bottle in his hand, tears drying on his face.
