last time with the fletchers, daniel and james welcomed baby ella to the family, and they were desperately running out of space in their tiny apartment. so a move was in order!

they were able to scrape together the funds to purchase a little house together, and moved in to kick off this round 🍂

the rest of the round was filled with boring infant rearing and what not. james went to work every day, daniel worked from home while taking care of baby ella, and adam had a little friendly hangout with joseph and ??? katie??? i guess????? to close out the rotation.

there have been some growing pains getting used to the new arrangement. adam's a sweetheart, but he can also be a little turd, so he's struggling to get used to james being around.

i'm sure daniel and james won't make a very impulsive family altering decision in the next post because i, the player, was bored and wanted to shake things up. totally not.

daniel and james have finally decided to take the plunge by going steady and moving in all at once in classic sims fashion. james is finally out of townie jail!

for the nerds who care (me. i care)

james is four days older than daniel, so ~2 years older than him. they're both in their early 40s by my age system

he's level 9???? in the slacker career which is just crazy

he's a romance/family sim, which i think contrasts daniel's popularity/pleasure quite well

he's neat/lazy/playful

and his sims 3 traits are disciplined, childish, handy, and hopeless romantic!

james and daniel adopted a baby! say hi to ella reycraft, signal hill's newest resident, and absolutely the youngest sim of the first generation!

did i maybe feel bad that james is a family sim and was pushing his mid-40s without ever having a child of his own. perhaps. was i kind of bored and wanted another sim to add to the spreadsheet. Absolutely.

daniel and james invited the lagerstroms over for dinner. natalie and daniel have been longtime friends, so they try to spend time together when they can.

adam and quinn cannot stand each other.

🌲 signal hill is back, and we're starting off with the fletchers!

daniel can't catch a break these days. losing arhan (and his income) has made it hard to afford the bills, and with an unlucky demotion, it's looking like things aren't gonna get easier any time soon.

at least he could still afford to throw adam a little birthday celebration. kiddo's a teen now, and aged up to be a knowledge sim. cute!
