Apologies for the quiet around here today - it will likely continue for the rest of the week as I am getting married next Friday (yes that is July 4th - I am Canadian). Also I got my hands on Baldur’s Gate III.

I do ship King with Victim, The Chosen One, The Dark Lord, Herobrine, Agent, Mitsi, Cobalt, Orchid and Corn Dog Guy. I will ship King with other adult OCs selectively.

Tall, dad bod, bushy brows, scruffy facial hair (if you’ve seen how @thatonefishfriend draws King’s face, that is how I picture it), long mostly straight hair worn in a low ponytail, wears a black ribbed turtleneck w/sleeves and orange/brown/cream diamond-patterned sweatervest, black pants, brown loafers

heyhey I just wanna say

Im a fictive of purple and your king drabbles mean so much to me. I dont know anyone else who's percieved dynamic of me and king fits so well to my memories.

we both only had ourselves to rely on for so long, and it had become unhealthy in completely different directions. so of course when we could actually get close to one another we had to support and help eachother through that. I had to help him about as often as he helped me, which was hard because he had become... very, closed off, but I dont regret a single second of it. I love my dad.

I’m glad you find my drabbles a source of comfort and familiarity.

I hadn’t considered how closed off my interpretation of King would seem to Purple before, but it does make sense.

King doesn’t want to burden Purple with all of the emotional stuff he still needs to work through because a) King knows Purple has his own stuff to work through and b) Regardless of the fact that Purple is an adult, Purple is his child, and you don’t burden your kids with that stuff (or at least you shouldn’t).

What's your supervillain au about?

Well, it was initially about The King and Elytra (Purple) trying to expose megacorp M.I.N.E.C.R.A.F.T. and the horrific experiments they’ve been doing while MC’s own brand of superheroes (The Colour Crew) attempt to stop them.

It features Cobalt as the head of Minecraft, transgender Purple, Herobrine as the first Minecraft brand superhero. Chosen, Dark and Victim as ancient aliens who came to Stick Planet we are calling Earth for simplicity’s sake to protect stickmanity and loads more stuff.

It was made with the help of the love of my life @kyllingtyme (I’d actually argue she did most of the work I just got the ball rolling)

AvA Fandom - Get to Know You Meme Thing

Favourite character: My fave character is King; dad-shaped former villains are my jam.

Favourite relationship (platonic or romantic)?: Chodarking, I feel like King balances out Chosen and Dark and makes a good middle ground for them.

Favourite episode: The King. No surprises here, I’m sure. I really do think this episode is the pinnacle of Alan and his team’s work so far and it will be very difficult to top.

Favourite actual short: I said it was “Cherry Blossoms” but now I’m not so sure it’s not “Corn Dog Guy”.

Something you’d like to see in the series: King again. Lol, aside from that I am both hoping for and dreading more world building and exploration as to how the world works.

Any interesting headcanons: I am absolutely a believer that fighting is natural to most stick figures and fighting tournaments are a pretty regular form of entertainment.

Any OCs (Original Characters): Mint and Royal, two kids designed by Dark, both generally considered failures: neither exhibited the powers Dark designed for them, though it turned out that Royal was a late bloomer who came into his powers after Dark abandoned him and Mint had one power - they are unkillable.

Aqua, a childhood friend of Gold’s, a normal stick with a normal life. Works in a convenience store. Very kind and the voice of reason in her friend group - most of the time anyway. May or may not have been dating Gold before he died.

Any AUs (Alternate Universes): Gosh, so many. Not gonna list ‘em all, but here is the first one that came to mind: Hermit!King, in which Gold is the equivalent of a Minecraft YouTuber whose world gets corrupted on stream with King present and playing with him. Gold disappears, King is damaged and goes into Minecraft to find his son.
