Now that Shadow and Sonic started dating, Sonic insisted on them living together. Which means that Tails is now in the mix too. Shadow now has to adapt to living with Tails. While Sonic was out fighting Eggman, Shadow tries to strike conversation with the kit. They soon realize that they may have a bit more in common than they think.

I just think Cream reminds him a lot of Maria, specially the sa2 model god she had the oval rabbit eyes it looks so similar somehow lol just sketching out the idea a bit

Cream is a really understanding and i think they had a lot of potential for an amazing friendship idk she helped Blaze open up so maybe it’d work for him too

I don't like to have Sonic call Shadow a faker in my AU, it's something that deeply bothers him. Because he is a fake. He's playing a part, not following his heart, because he's a failure.

Life doesn't have a purpose, but his did. He was made to save maria. He failed. He was made to be a GUN weapon. He failed. He was made to bring happiness, he brought fear. He promised maria, he broke his promise. He even failed to be Doom's ultimate solider. He failed himself, trusting everyone but his own heart.

Do you think Sonic knows this? I do. Shadow's confidence and attitude is a farce. Sonic can tell, which is why he didnt give up on him.

Shadow doesn't walk away because it's "not his problem." or because he, "doesn't have time for this." He walks away because he's scared of failing again. He isn't afraid of connecting, he's afraid of ruining it. What lies after the connection? An end. The first time he experienced an end, the very first time he was called a failure...

it was the worse day of his life. "What if every end...is just like that?"

Thank you all for being so welcoming and fun to be around. It really gives me motivation to continue and push myself! The comic I was gonna make for you is still in the background, but I ended up drawing some kind of angst, I think it counts somewhat?

shadow falling in love with sonic but not knowing how to properly express those feelings and the thing knows how to express best is anger so anytime sonic gets close, or their hands brush each other for a split second, or that touch on his arm lasts a bit too long, he lashes out

sonic knows shadow doesnt hate him. he knows something else is there, something not too different from hatred, but he just cant figure it out, and anytime he tries getting close to figure it out, shadow just lashes out
