I made a thing
I know they won’t do it but wouldn’t it just be nuts if the after the credits of Mando S3 is another Shadow Council meeting and Moff Gideon goes off about Thrawn again and a holo of Thrawn steps into the frame at that moment and we see him for half a second and then it cuts to black
Thinking about the time I tried desperately to get the Shadow Council to send me caf. I wasn't very apt at communicating with the living yet, being newly deceased and all. I tried to write them a message saying "Can you please burn some caf over Admiral Piett's symbolic grave? Thank you!" However, my hand slipped, and I accidentally drenched the entire council in blood. Pellaeon's mustache was pink for weeks after that.
After that, Moff Gideon placed a Crait salt circle around their meeting room, effectively barring all ghostly visits. He never forgave me for ruining his ISB uniform.
spoilers for inside job
So you know how the airbud B-plot felt very much like a regular episode compared to the heavy emotional weight of the A-plot? And then the episode ends with Airbud walking up straight, talking, and having thumbs despite Brett putting the "dogs can't play basketball" law into place? And remember how the Shadow Council said Reagan was only human, implying that they aren't?
So my theory is the Shadow Council is sapient dogs from the future who are working to ensure that the events that lead to their existance play out.
Not going to lie, the Shadow Council gives slight LOVEMUFFIN vibes.

Ok but like... why is Brendol even at that shadow council meeting? He's part of Rae Sloane's remnant, not Gideon's. Wouldn't Rae be at that meeting representing her group? Is Brendol attending on her behalf? Behind her back? Is he going behind Rae's back to send supplies to Gideon? Are they just writing Rae out of the lore? Is it because of the possible Rae and Rey confusion?
He was inspired by the dedication of clones and wanted to implement that in his own raised from birth soldiers but I don't think he was established as the clone guy? So that's new ig
Rae's remnant was already calling itself the First Order back in 5 ABY and The Mandalorian is in 9 ABY soooo is this being retconned?
