went to a lego convention/event and was hoping to find retired sequel trilogy sets that people didn't want and were selling... tell me why these people were selling one of the sets i wanted for twice what it's going for right now by various sellers on eBay... a $200 markup.

i was also looking to pick up a Hux minifig and knew going into it that he's very rare because he was only ever in two (?) sets. people were selling his minifig for $20-25. for a minifig. i know he's rare but come on...

I don’t like how I’m kinda expected to rewrite the first 20 years of my life just because I’m trans. I was the eldest daughter in a black household. I can’t go back and edit my history to say I was the eldest son, cuz that doesn’t accurately convey the certain standards I was held to. I was the only girl in my engineering class. I can’t leave out the “girl” part. It recontextualizes the entire situation. I don’t think either of those facts invalidates my current gender and I don’t think trans people should be expected to rewrite their own history in fear of that

Here was my second holiday piece of the Kylux pinup calendar, celebrating TRANS VISIBILITY DAY in March

The piece features T4T Kylux with Trans Femme Nonbinary Kylo, and Trans Male Hux. I know it is impossible to encapsulate the experiences of every trans person with one drawing, but as a trans man myself I was very honored to get to do this piece.

i've been holding off playing Star Wars Outlaws for so long because i heard it was buggy on release and then i kept getting sidetracked by other game releases. i saw it on sale today and was debating whether or not to get the game version that came with the digital art book or not. i was scanning through a copy of the art book that had been uploaded online and recognized something. imagine my surprise when i stumbled across the name "Akiva".

don't feel bad if you have no idea what this is! Akiva is Temmin Wexley from the sequel trilogy's homeworld. Temmin is one of the resistance pilots in that movie trilogy. He is a cool guy, but i'm way more interested in his mom, Norra Wexley. Akiva just so happens to be the planet where Norra meets Rae Sloane, a grand admiral of the imperial remnant, for the first time in the Aftermath book trilogy. and if you know me, you know i'm a huge Rae Sloane fanboy.

i want to go explore this planet for myself now that it's real and characters' backstories like Temmin and Norra are made more real. since Norra was off fighting the imperial remnant all the time, she had left Temmin in the care of her sister and her sister's wife. and guess which characters they put in the game! Temmin, Norra's sister Esmelle, and Esmelle's wife, Shirene are all characters you can meet in Outlaws.

After my fullpage illustration I also volunteered for some physical merch. Always wanted to design a bookmark and here we are! I went with the "Emperor Hux and his loyal knight"- trope because it's just too good to let it slide! :D
