🕯️ ✨ Mirror Magic Practices in The Song:
🌑 1. Shadow Gazing (Dark Reflection Scrying)
One of my favorite practices. Take a small hand mirror. Hold it or place it near a shadowed space — where natural light can’t reach.
Let the mirror reflect only darkness. Gaze into it. Let your eyes blur. Watch as images, faces, symbols, or movements emerge.
This isn’t about seeing with your eyes. It’s about letting the Currents show you what’s hidden between light and dark.
🌿 2. Ritual Reflection
During spellwork:
Start by showing the mirror a symbol of intention (a candle flame, a flower, a sigil).
Then turn the mirror towards darkness — sealing the image within the Flow.
Close the working by covering the mirror with cloth (Veluna’s shroud).
🔥 3. Mirror as a Focus for Flow Work
Use the mirror as a visual anchor during meditations on the Currents:
For Ilithara: hold the mirror up to the sky.
For Nemyra: let the mirror catch reflections of moving water or flame.
For Veluna: gaze into shadowed glass, seeing how the world fades into silence.
🧵 4. Mirror Charms & Decor
Tiny pocket mirrors with tied threads and charms attached. You can decorate them with:
White ribbons (Ilithara)
Braided red cords (Nemyra)
Black or silver fabric (Veluna)
Hang them near altars, windows, or doorways as Flow guardians.
