I didn’t survive phantom horses and barrel racing just to be bullied over an old ivory egg 🍅🤠✌️ #mememonday
It's done!!!! I'm so happy with how it came out! This project was done on a whim but I think it ended up really nice.
If you want a pattern for the cross stitch to do it yourself, you can find it here!
Tori is traveling at the moment - Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs is pretty amazing!!! If you’re ever in the area, it’s 100% worth the visit!!
All I want is for the Shadow Ranch app to come back
growing up i used to play the nancy drew mystery PC games. my all time favorite was secret of shadow ranch, where you got to go to arizona and be on a ranch and ride horses and discover a cowboy outlaw treasure
that game came out in 2004
flash forward 18 years—-
in 2022 and 2023 i’m playing red dead redemption 2, obsessed with cowboys, outlaws, horses, etc.
it tracks 🤠
yee, and i can’t express this enough

A little preview of my 🔍✨ Nancy Drew Shelf! ✨🔍
I found some of my old pc discs in an absurd stroke of luck. Given their rough state and since I have my faves downloaded anyway, I decided to frame them. I did keep Final Scene in its case on the far left since that was my first Nancy Drew game and the copy my grandma gave me! 🥰
I’m a Blackmoor Manor girly so I did buy a secondhand physical copy just to display it lol. I thought that rock on the shelf looked like a certain treasure in the game. That blue book stacked with Final Scene is the Bluebeard Room, which is the Nancy book Blackmoor was “inspired” by!
The mini vintage radio beside the Shadow Ranch book is actually the coolest pencil sharpener ever, but it gave me Old Clock vibes. The perfume bottle belonged to my great grandmother and I think it really fit the bill too.
And my Naughty Tina pin beside the Blackmoor pc copy is probably my favorite thing in the world 😭
I do still want to fiddle around with the display and maybe add some sort of wallpaper to the shelf, but I’m learning that any space is never going to be complete or perfect, so I wanted to share anyway. To have so much joy and childhood thrill displayed in one place just means the world to me 🔍🩶
Happy Shadow Ranch day!
