After their time at the arcade was over with, they all met together to try to decide what to do next.
Discord: You know, as fun as this has been, I’m getting a little bored with this place. Shall we head back to Ponyville for a drink or two?
Shining: I don’t see why not. Big Mac? Spike?
Both Spike and Big Mac nodded in agreement. They also seemed like they were running out of steam.
With that, Discord snapped his claws and in an instant, they had returned to a bar in Ponyville. Everyone was rather excited to just kick up their hooves and just have a little more fun, but when they entered the bar...

...they noticed it was unusually busy this evening.
Shining: Huh... Guess it’s packed tonight.
Spike: There’s a few spots left at the bar stand! Come on!
Everyone got to their seats in an orderly fashion before they could be taken by some pony else. After the bartender had finished serving a nearby customer, he turned to the group of four.
Bartender: What will it be this evening?
Shining: I’ll take a Citrus Twist.
Spike: Non alcoholic cider with a topaz if you got them!
Big Mac: Hard cider.
Discord: I’ll take a chocolate milk with... What is that? Coconut rum? Yes! That will do nicely!
The bartender nodded and walked off to prepare their drinks. In the meantime, the group of guys decided to have some small talk until their drinks came.

How did you come up with Neko design?
She went through a lot of design changes that’s for sure! I sorta just kept tweaking it until I got to somewhere I liked.

A few days had passed since the incident in which Discord and Twilight had a slight falling out. With things all smoothed out, Keira and Discord enjoyed the remaining days of their engagement.

The days were spent hanging out with friends and and taking care of errands. Whenever the two weren’t working on wedding preparations, they were taking care of things at the house or enjoying time out.
In the end, when the two had some free time, Keira and Discord would find time to be together. Most often, they would go to the fields to paint some scenery and enjoy time alone. But they knew well that their days were numbered. It would only be a matter of time until the day they would be separated.

The next day was the day of Keira’s art presentation for the Canterlot Art Society. Discord had teleported the two to Canterlot instead of taking the train since Keira figured it’d be easier.
Discord: Well, look at you! Don’t you look ready for the occasion! You’re looking more confident already.
Keira: Thanks, but I’m not sure I’m completely ready for the event. I’m still a little nervous, but I think I can do this.

Discord: Speaking of not being ready, you do realize you’ll be talking to some rather sophisticated ponies, right?
Keira: Yes? What are you getting at?
Discord: Well, don’t you think you should’ve dressed the part?
Keira: Hm... You’re right. I really wish I had thought that through! Where am I ever going to get a dress at this point?!

Discord coughed playfully and smiled down to Keira.
Discord: You do realize that I could help you with that, right?
Keira: You better not be pulling any tricks here. This is really important to me and I don’t want anything going wrong!
Discord: Oh, don’t you worry. I wouldn’t ruin this for you. Now just close your eyes and let me do the rest!

The crowd went back to what they were doing as Keira darted backstage eagerly. Excitedly, she leaped up to hug Discord.
Keira: I did it, Discord! I beat my fears! I can’t believe I actually did it!
Discord: I knew you could do it, Keira! I couldn’t be prouder of you!
After her presentation, Mayor Mare came backstage once again.
Mayor: Outstanding job, Ms. Starlight! That was a great presentation! I greatly enjoyed it!
Discord: I’m no expert, but I’d say every pony did!
Keira: Thank you, Mayor. And thank you for every thing, Discord. I couldn’t have done this without either of you.
Mayor: Any time, Keira. If you’d like to hold another art show like this some time, I’d be delighted to help you out again! Speaking of which, I don’t think you had the time to enjoy the other’s art works! What do you say the two of us go out and see every pony’s works?
Keira: I’d love to. Discord? Do you mind if I go with Mayor Mare?
Discord: Not at all! You deserve to enjoy yourself! Have fun, dear!
Keira: Thank you. I’ll see you later. I love you!
Discord: And I love you too! So long!
Discord watched as Keira went off to enjoy herself. He was extremely happy for her, not only because the art show had gone well, but because she had gotten over her fear of being in front of a crowd. While in his thoughts, he hadn’t realized that Twilight had come backstage as well.
Twilight: Discord! I wanted to take to you for a moment! Do you have the time?
Discord’s attitude changed almost instantly. He had a bad feeling about what Twilight wanted to talk to him about.
Discord: Let me guess, you’re going to scold me for supposedly brainwashing Keira to be brave in front of the crowd. If that’s what you’re here for, I’m not interested.
Twilight: I know that’s normally what I would likely say, but I actually wanted to do the exact opposite.
Discord’s expression softened as Twilight approached him.
Twilight: I actually wanted to thank you for helping Keira get over her fears. I was really worried about her. I was afraid that she would she would panic and just cancel the show altogether. But you were supportive and helped her through every bit of this. I’m very grateful for what you did today.
Discord smiled down to Twilight. He was happy for the change of pace. Normally, he would’ve been accused of brainwashing his fiancee, but to hear that Keira’s closest friend had thanked him for his support made him feel good.
Discord: You’re more than welcome, Twilight. And I’m sorry for assuming you were going to blame me for something silly. I just wanted you to know that I truly care for Keira. I want to see her grow into the pony I know she can become, just like you and all her friends.
Twilight: Apology accepted. And I’m glad we’re on the same page.
Twilight: Now how about we go enjoy the rest of the art show? I’d love to take a good look at the pieces for myself.
Discord: A wonderful idea, Princess Twilight! After you!
