After their time at the arcade was over with, they all met together to try to decide what to do next.
Discord: You know, as fun as this has been, I’m getting a little bored with this place. Shall we head back to Ponyville for a drink or two?
Shining: I don’t see why not. Big Mac? Spike?
Both Spike and Big Mac nodded in agreement. They also seemed like they were running out of steam.
With that, Discord snapped his claws and in an instant, they had returned to a bar in Ponyville. Everyone was rather excited to just kick up their hooves and just have a little more fun, but when they entered the bar...

...they noticed it was unusually busy this evening.
Shining: Huh... Guess it’s packed tonight.
Spike: There’s a few spots left at the bar stand! Come on!
Everyone got to their seats in an orderly fashion before they could be taken by some pony else. After the bartender had finished serving a nearby customer, he turned to the group of four.
Bartender: What will it be this evening?
Shining: I’ll take a Citrus Twist.
Spike: Non alcoholic cider with a topaz if you got them!
Big Mac: Hard cider.
Discord: I’ll take a chocolate milk with... What is that? Coconut rum? Yes! That will do nicely!
The bartender nodded and walked off to prepare their drinks. In the meantime, the group of guys decided to have some small talk until their drinks came.
*knocks on Shades door*
*Shade opens the door* Yes?
Back at the bar in Ponyville, the guys except for Spike were a little tipsy from their drinks. Shining and Discord held a conversation about life and what they thought about was in their future. Spike sat and listened in while he continued to have his non alcoholic drinks.
As they had their fun, Big Mac decided to try to make some small talk with the mare that Discord had identified as Sugar Belle.
Big Mac: H-Howdy.
???: Oh! Hello there!
Big Mac: Name’s Big Mac.
???: Well, hello Big Mac. I’m Sugar Belle! What brings you here this evening?
Big Mac: Wedding tomorrow.
Sugar: You mean the one in Canterlot? I’m supposed to be coming to that tomorrow as well! I’ll be seeing you there then?
Big Mac: Eeyup!

Some time went on and the bar started up their karaoke session. Spike had been singing for a while, but before he started his next song, he had an announcement.
Spike: Before I start this next song, I need a partner! Discord! Come on!
Nervously, Discord looked down to his claws and fidgeted.
Discord: Um... I don’t know...
Shining: Well, go on, Discord! Get up there!

A few days had passed since the incident in which Discord and Twilight had a slight falling out. With things all smoothed out, Keira and Discord enjoyed the remaining days of their engagement.

The days were spent hanging out with friends and and taking care of errands. Whenever the two weren’t working on wedding preparations, they were taking care of things at the house or enjoying time out.
In the end, when the two had some free time, Keira and Discord would find time to be together. Most often, they would go to the fields to paint some scenery and enjoy time alone. But they knew well that their days were numbered. It would only be a matter of time until the day they would be separated.

After what felt like the longest train ride in her life, Keira finally made it to Canterlot. The sun was rising and Keira was still just as worried as before.
Keira: I can’t turn back now though. I came here for a reason and I have to keep going...

The streets of Canterlot were starting to become more and more busy as the sun got higher and higher. Keira continued to walk to where the one pony she knew that could help her lived.
Before long, Keira reaches her mother’s house and knocks on the door.
Keira: Hello? Mum? Are you awake? It’s me. Keira.
Pearl Star opened the door and was honestly shocked to see Keira in front of her.
Pearl: Keira? Honey, it’s still early! What are you doing here? Oh, please don’t tell me that something wrong went between you and Discord again!
Keira: No, mum. Nothing happened. I just want to talk with you.
Keira was a little unsure because of Discord’s normally joking personality, but closed her eyes as he had asked anyhow. Discord snapped his fingers in order to help Keira.
Discord: Ok, you can open your eyes.

Keira: Oh my goodness! Is this one of Rarity’s designs?!
Discord: Nope. It’s one of mine. I thought it’d be fitting for the occasion.

Thrilled by Discord’s act of kindness, she jumped up and hugged him tightly. Keira: Oh, Discord! I love it so much! Thank you! Discord: You’re welcome, love. I’m just glad I was able to help.

Happily, the two continue to make their way to the Canterlot Art Gallery.

When every pony minus Rarity made it back home to Ponyville, they all were going back to Twilight’s castle to hang out for lunch. Twilight noticed that Keira wasn’t as excited as every pony, so she talked to her off to the side.
Twilight: So, are you coming with us? We’d be happy to have you.
Keira: I think I’m just going go home. My mind is still pretty rattled from today.
Twilight: I can understand. Well, hope to see you later!

Once Keira was far enough from the group, she asked Discord to come out of her bag for the walk home.
Discord: Well, it doesn’t seem like the train ride helped your mood at all.
Keira: It did a little, but very little. I just feel jealous that Twilight can stand in front of crowds without getting scared at all. It’s really putting me in a sad mood. I just wish I was as brave as her.

Discord: But dear, didn’t we already establish that it’s going to take time? It’s not like I can snap my fingers and suddenly make you brave! It doesn’t work like that!
Keira: I wish it did. I’m so tired of feeling like I have to be afraid of everything! Especially when it could help me do better.
Discord: I know it’s going to be tough to work up the courage to stand in front of a crowd, but I know you can do it! If you can run the art shop, then that’s a good start!
Keira: Thanks, but it’s not the same. I just wish there was a chance for me to try.
