The next day, Keira got up as early as she could. Without waking Discord, she climbed out of bed and trotted off. Her mind was heavy with the happenings from yesterday and her eyes heavy from sleep. As she made her way downstairs, she decided it was best that she didn’t say anything to Discord about where she was going.

After a tiresome walk, Keira finally arrived to the Ponyville train station. She was thankful it wasn’t very busy at this hour, but still felt terrible for just getting out of bed and leaving Discord. She started to feel even worse about not saying anything to him about leaving, but decided it was fair after he ditched her when she was talking to Daisy and Dusty Notes the other day.
The train was relatively empty at this hour, which gave Keira mixed emotions. She was glad that no pony was around to distract her while she thought about what to write in her vows, but the ride to Canterlot was going to be a long and lonely ride. Between her bouts of loneliness and racing thoughts, Keira would look out the window and watch the sun rise over the mountainside.
