Question! Are we allowed to combine prompts and have that count as both days?

I wouldn't count them as both days because by that logic if someone managed to combine a prompt from every day into one big work, they'd have technically "completed" the challenge in like a day. The idea is to have 30 works for 30 days, so if you decide to combine two prompts for one day, you could use an alt prompt to fill the other

Fun story: before I had an Ao3 account, I came across a wonderful Haikyuu fic but didn't save it in any way. Today I went through your bookmarks on Ao3 and lo and behold, I finally (after roughly 8 months of searching) found that exact fic!!! I am so happy that I found it and it wasn't deleted and I can finally bookmark it myself!!

Ahhh what!!! That's so awesome!! How crazy!! I'm glad you found it again! That's so cool! What a good feeling to find a fic you havne't been able to find for ages. And how funny that it was something I've bookmarked! I love it! Aw Haikyuu. I miss Haikyuu. Maybe I'll go rearead some fics tonight.

I had already planned on watching The Sandman but your gifs are what gave me the push to actually sir down and watch it. I love this show!! I expected to have something turn me off within the first five minutes, but no! As of this ask, I'm to episode 7 and still watching! This show is wonderful. Just wonderful.

Ahh that's awesome!! I'm so glad!! I'm certainly having fun with the gifs and there are DEFINITELY more to come. I haven't even started on the other episodes yet. I'm still giffing episode 1 lol. Ah I'm so glad you like the show!!! It's so good!

It finally happened, Ace. I'm writing a fic and I'm 2000 words in and I haven't even reached the part that I started writing for. Usually everything happens too quickly but the characters write the story and I guess they didn't want to reach that part anytime soon. This has only happened once but that story is only ~2300 words. I have a feeling this current story will pass that by at least a few hundred. I don't know whether to be happy, annoyed, or scared...

Oh wow!! Congrats! Oh man that's crazy when it happens isn't it! Like you have no control over the characters. They went "nah we gotta go through a few thousand words of development before we get to the thing you want. sorry not sorry" lol. That's exactly how my current wip became so damn large! Welcome to the club lol!!

I'm so excited for October 1st!!! I was able to fill 13 prompts last year, so I made it my goal to pass that. I did!! I'm currently at 17! I'm still aiming to complete, but I at least reached and passed my goal!! I'm so excited for everyone to read my stories. I'm soooo excited!!!

*writing Whumptober prompts and keeping them around 1000 words for ease of writing* *is halfway through one of my stories and its past 1000 words* *is maybe a third/halfway through the plot that was not supposed to exist but here we are* Story will still probably stay under 2500 words, but.... I understand how you feel with your Cursed fic a little bit now. Gotta love being a writer, eh, Ace?

LOL! Yup! That's how it goes for me! Exactly how my fic ended up becoming to damn large. It's so frustrating sometimes when you just wanted to write something short but your brain is like NOPE! IT'S GONNA BE LONG! ENJOY!

HOW DO YOU WRITE LONG FICS WHEN YOU WANT THEM SHORT??? ALL MINE ARE ALL "THIS IS A COMPLEX STORYLINE AND SO MUCH HAPPENS", * writes whole fic*, LESS THAN 1500-2000 WORDS!!!!

Lol I have no idea!!! I always intend to write something short and then I blink and I'm 5000 words and with this cursed fic I blinked and i was at 60K!! I think it's because I'm long winded with the pain descriptors and the exploration of emotions lol. Plus I have a plethora of whump scenes I want to see for everyone so I just keep adding in more and more. That's how this Cursed fic god so big. It's been me going "Oh i'd live this scene to happen." writes it. "This would make a good scene too." write that. I have problems cutting things I guess.

Hi Anons!

I have two sexualites that are intertwined: Aromantic Asexual and Demisexual Lesbian. Confusing and complex, right? I also enjoy looking at celebrities (including males) because they are still really pretty. (and anime boys are too!) I just don't wanna date them. So don't feel bad or guilty about reaching out to others in wanting to find yourself. It took me two-three years to figure myself out. XD

Finding out your sexuality can be really easy, or be stretches of introspection until the label does indeed make sense to you. Both are fine and valid. Ace here is definitely a great source for all AroAces. I wish everyone who comes and talks to Ace a pleasant and less stressful journey in finding who you are. It can be a bumpy ride, but the destination can be so worth it.

Hi Shadow! Thanks for sending in a response! I think this is perfectly well said and a good thing to keep in mind. I’ve gone through both the “easy” and the “stretches of introspection until the label makes sense” myself and couldn’t agree more that they are both valid and wonderful.
