An older Shadow with long hair where he is somewhat confident in himself at this point of the story. ;) Here, his outfit is similar like his older brothers, but he gives it his own touch that still reflects who he is. . . After a long wait, I finally got Clip Studio Paint EX. It's been almost 2 years since I last touched my Wacom Intuos tablet, so it's been interesting to work with it again (this was my test drawing). I still prefer drawing in Procreate since I can see what I'm actually drawing, but other than that, it's a cool program to use. . . . . .
Shadow as a kid. This drawing shows his mental state the moment he thought his father shut him out and abandoned him. In the story, he experienced much suffering in his childhood, and it only got worse when his father abandoned him when he needed him the most. From then on, he became bitter towards mankind. Though he never showed it, he felt he had no value. Things got better after meeting his friends years later. It takes the majority of the story for him to get out of that dark place in his mind, and though his demons would come back from time to time, he learns to never question his self-worth and the love that he feels from his friends. . . I don’t know what you guys are going through in your lives, but just know that you are not alone and that good things will come. Remember, you are all amazing!
