SETH HAD OPENED HIS EYES TO SEE A MAN sitting by his bedside when he woke up in the med bay. He looked slightly familiar. Felt familiar too. Was he the one he had seen when the cell doors were busted down by a blue saber? He had been held in the First Order flagship for a year after he failed to obey Snoke and to be broken down. It was years after being a stormtrooper. "How long have I been out?" He didn't know how many weeks went by since he passed out. "Where's my mom?" Solo could hear the sounds outside of the bay. Sounded like there was a lot of people behind those doors walking by.

She'd been quite rude when he'd arrived. It's been a long time since Satine and Obi-Wan have seen each other-- they'd both been young then, the threat of war limited to a much smaller place than it is now-- but he's hardly changed a day. Their natural nature was to spar, which seemed to have given young Skywalker pause, but once Satine and Obi-Wan are alone, a smile comes to Satine's face. He is an old friend, after all.

"General Kenobi," Satine says, voice soft with a teasing lilt as she greets him with his new title. "You sound positively Mandalorian with a title like that." She puts out her hands to him. "It is good to see you. I wish it were under better cause than politics."

“Don’t look at me like that. I don’t want your pity.” Anakin grumbled at his aunt. He was tired of everyone around him looking at him with pity, nevermind his parents' sorrow. So his arm was gone. At least everyone else was alright.

“It’s not pity. It’s worry.”

She had had long talks with her sister about how to best help her nephew. She knew he was stubborn and wouldn’t want to be coddled. But at the same time she wanted to show that she cared.

"Is that so?" Wanda asked, perched on the edge of the seat beside Shadow. Her gaze lingered on the other's face, a small smile slowly tugging at her lips as she watched him. How lucky she felt to be able to call the other her husband, how lucky she felt to be able to share the rest of her life with him. "Perhaps a wife's job is to protect and love her husband just as much, what do you think?"

Seth nodded quietly. He had been thinking of staying but he didn't know yet. His brother would be looking for him. "I don't know. I'll think about it.' It was all he could say right now. Earth made him nervous and being away from everything he knew made him on edge.

AT FIRST, WHEN MASTER YADDLE asked him that FATEFUL QUESTION, Dooku did not believe his own ears. He froze like a lothcat caught in a speeder’s headlights, staring at Yaddle with wide eyes and parted lips. The datapad in his hand slipped out of his grasp, only saved from crashing to the floor by Dooku’s naturally quick reflexes.

Mace paused, turning to face his colleague. He knew Yaddle well, and it was quite easy to determine what troubled the gentle Jedi Master.

"Be honest...are you happy or content with being married to me?" Obi-Wan asked her. "We could end this. Our marriage was arranged for politics. I can ensure an alliance remains."

Her expression was quizzical, her brain working quickly to understand the question. "Are you unhappy?"

It was what she settled on, expression shifting briefly to bemused, and then to brief concern. "If you are unhappy, we can divorce. If I was unhappy, I would have asked you for a divorce."

It was true. Asgardian woman were allowed to marry whomever they wished; and divorce them. Marrying Obi-Wan was for an alliance, and Odin had asked her to - as her king and commander - but she had stayed of her own free will. Treaties had been signed. Alliances made. Symbolism kept. The whole hurrah.

"Know that I do not mind if you take lovers. Just tell me about them." They had not so much as kissed, she and her husband. He seemed to keep his distance; respecting her boundaries by setting his wide. "But, you must tell me things. I cannot read your mind. I would like to know it; but that is up to you."
