Not only that, but he made great contributions to the village during the War, being one of the necessary keys to stopping it! Surely that guarantees some kind of reward, doesn't it

aaah, dude, my deepest condolences. :( I know what it's like to lose interest in games...a little while ago I didn't play anything for months, and only just now have started getting back. it'll happen, it just takes some time to get back into your gaming headspace. I hope it doesn't take too long for you.

all the potential in sasuoro comes from the fact sasuke is immune to orochimaru’s manipulation, and sasuke holds a special place w/ orochimaru in where he gets away with basically anything he wants, including making demands out of him. 

So put them together for a length of time and Orochimaru is forced to regard him as an equal and BAM you get a recipe for “oh no I am developing genuine human feelings how do I stop this?”

plus he’d be tsundere as fuck for sasuke. 

** this is, of course, not referencing time spent in Oto. It’s gotta be outside/after that.

unpopular opinion: in modern AUs, sasuke doesn't, in fact, like punk music or the punk aesthetic. he likes simple, loose clothing that don't restrict his movements and, if he listens to music, he leans to traditional japanese string instruments playing in the background. loud banging music actually annoys him.

I am definitely a fan of any modern Sasuke headcanon that doesn’t always make him conform to the emo/punk/goth aesthetic, and 100% agree ont the clothing bit. He’d just wear what he thinks is comfortable, and really wouldn’t care what he looks like or what trope he presents as.

I like your idea for the music thing, too! My own headcanon is usually that he just listens to whatever music that he comes by, whatever the genre, as long as he likes it, but I can see him settling for some more calmer/soothing sounds.
