Draime is an unhealthy ship

I've noticed that a scary amount of people ship Dru Blackthorn and Jaime Rosales from The Dark Artifices together, and I REALLY don't think it's ok to act as if a romantic relationship between a 13 year-old and a 17 year-old is fair, equal, stable, healthy, or acceptable. Dru is barely old enough to date anybody, and she's certainly not old enough to date someone whose nearly an adult. A 4 year age difference might not seem like so much, but the reason those 4 years make such an impact is because Dru and Jaime are in different stages of their lives. Dru just became a teenager and Jaime is nearly an adult. And as soon as Jaime does turn 18, Draime will become a pedophilic ship. Do you think pedophilic relationships are ok?!? I hope not.

So @cassandraclare said to find a quote that I liked from Lady Midnight/Lord of Shadows and share it but I actually have a confession…

I loved the quotes in Lady Midnight so much that I made a Google Doc and wrote down all of my favorites...to be honest, so many things in that book were hilarious but I have to say my favorite parts were Emma’s surprisingly creative threats. A few of the best (relatively spoiler-free) examples:

“Emma hung on to her for dear life and decided there and then that if anyone ever tried to hurt Cristina she would grind them to a pulp and make amusing sand castles out of the remains.”

““But he hurt Jules, so when we track him down, I’m going to chop him up and feed him to my fish.”

“You don’t have fish,” Julian said.

“Well, I’m going to buy some,” said Emma. “I’m going to buy goldfish and feed them blood until they acquire a taste for human flesh.””

““Get up,” Emma said, reaching out a hand to Sterling. “Come with us. But if you call me ‘blondie’ again, I’ll rip your knees off and turn them into tiny hubcaps, ’kay?””
