I miss playing the Ultima games like when I was first introduced to them. Man, numbers IV, V, VI and VII were so fucking good introductions to computer RPGs and some of their aspects really haven't been topped since.

For queer fans of Neverwinter Nights (a computer D&D game):

So I’ve been playing a module set (Shadowlords/Dreamcatcher/Demon) that at first, I thought was just glitchy on the romances, or designed with only guys in mind. In Shadowlords, if you’re playing a dude, you can romance either of the female “henchmen” options (Teira, rogue; Anera, cleric). If you’re a lady, you can romance one of the women (Anera), but not the male “henchman” (Nooble, Fighter).

I just figured out that he’s available as a romance option in Dreamcatcher if you take him as a henchman in Shadowlords. He can become a paladin. It gives a whole new meaning to “lay on hands.” ;) (He can also go an evil route if you influence him in that direction.)

With this discovery, I found out that Anera is actually bisexual, which was a nice surprise. I’m hetero, but it’s nice that she’s an option, because usually in NWN campaigns, romance options for female characters are very limited (as in, there’s usually only one).

So if you like playing Neverwinter Nights, and you’re a lady and into other ladies, there’s that. (I haven’t found one with a gay guy romance option yet, but if I find one, I’ll keep ya posted.)

@averypottermormon You should check this game out if you have time. It’s available on GOG.com, and these modules/campaigns are fan-made.  (this is NOT Neverwinter Nights 2. I have the original Neverwinter Nights, Diamond edition.)
