Done in ink, watercolor, charcoal pencil on paper. From the Androgydemon series.
A recent work done in ink, watercolor, on paper. I’m not sure if it’s complete but getting close.
Worm Hand By Shadowpuffs (Disasterina) From the Realm of the Shadowpuffs Series Ink, watercolor, on paper The Worm Hand was so expressive it grew a mouth to explain its amazing attributes. A true shape shifter, the entity can squirm into a very small space including the body of a host volunteer. When the host is inhabited it exhibits similar expressiveness almost like an unseen puppet. The expressiveness attracts and generates dark forms from thin ether which swirl about and spontaneously disappear. Some say we all need a Worm Hand to guide us at certain points in our lives.
To Restore Flesh By Shadowpuffs (Disasterina) From the Shadowpuffs Interlopers Series Ink, watercolor, acrylic, on paper We are all walking corpses (those of us who can walk). Entropy is relentlessly stalking us at every moment, diminishing and depleting us. It occurs to some that this process could possibly be halted or reversed at some point. It is thought that some potion or procedure can be taken to restore us. To restore our withered away flesh or our rotten and putrescent eyes or our desiccated brain it is thought a remedy can be found. Even when all that is left is our lost memories traveling away from what was us at the speed of causation.
Spooky Action by Proxy By Shadowpuffs (Disasterina) From the Realm of the Shadowpuffs Series Ink, watercolor, acrylic, on paper Entities often assign others to do their complicated business. What happens though when the assigned entities assign other entities who then create entirely new entities to tackle the task? Most likely the original task is forgotten or subjugated in a malestrom of intense arguing and ridiculous posturing. That is what is depicted here.
Religion Stinks. Done in ink and watercolor on paper.
The creatures depicted are witches (and can be easily identified as such due to the two-spired black hats they wear). They are engaged in veneration of a very stinky plant that is growing out of an old dead stump. This organism is so stinky it can be smelled from an absurdly large distance. It naturally occurred to the witches to create a religion centered around this fetid nexus. Some adherents to the religion make pilgrimages to the area and bless the plant with their highly caustic vomit which kills all other organisms. Other adherents simply disintegrate into a slurry of muck when they get close.
This one is called Election Night in Fear Town. Completed the night of the Trump Election. This is the contorted and confused state of mind I was in during this time. The dread that filled my thoughts turned out to be legit.
Singular Disorder. January 2017. Ink and watercolor on paper.
