In terms of who’s in the most danger to begin with... if we’re in the ocean Makoto’s likely to panic so his swimming ability doesn’t really count for shit in that situation. But I’m not entirely sure Erwin knows how to swim at all, and he’s only got the one arm to boot, so he’d be less likely to survive if left alone. But Makoto’d pretty much be dead meat too.

i’d take erwin under one arm and makoto under the other and just eggbeater the fuck out of it till everyone was safe. and i mean okay they’re both much bigger than me so i probably couldn’t tow em both super far but once makoto was safe it’s possible he’d calm down enough to swim on his own and then i’d only have erwin to worry about, which is totally doable.
