my money's on apokuna as the chapel dweller though. has succumbed partly but not entirely to bloodsickness, technically holds an institutional position of power but not by much, is trying their best to help survivors

Cam was the first non-Blake BF and showed up sometime in early highschool. after that was Keith, and then it was just the three of them for like. two or three years? until suddenly Blue popped into existence during week 1. so Blue is very. out of the blue. god damnit

i could talk for ages about design inspirations for each of them but the gist of it is Blake is BF with a tiny bit of Neo (black hair, im toying with giving him headphones), Cam has a little bit of Bidu from Arrow Funk, Keith has outfit parts from Benjamin (Soft Mod) and MIX, and Blue is like 50/50 Minus and Soul with a tiny bit of Troy/evil Soul. OH ALSO THEIR NAMES! Blake, Cameron, Keith, and Blue are common fandom names for BF. there was nearly an Evan but i didnt want to swap any of the names out and four is already a lot to keep track of

Blake is really, really worried abt GF finding out bc they havent exactly had a good track record with coming out to people about it. but also its gonna happen sooner or later bc they are so, so bad at stealthing. mostly Cam is bad at stealthing but thats bc he has difficulties with speech so there is a big flag of Cameron Is Here because BF will start beeping like a fire alarm trying to call your mother something very unkind. somehow GF hasnt questioned it. tbh her positive treatment of Cam is a pretty big reason of why he wants to bite the bullet and just tell her, but at the point ive written rn theyre on the fence

Pico, meanwhile, 100% knows. Cam was already around when he started dating Blake, and Keith showed up partway through their relationship, and all three of them were super transparent to him about everything, so Pico Knows. even though its been years since they last saw each other he's still able to clock who's in front. he's also about to start throwing bricks if they don't fucking tell GF right now are they kidding him

His and Harold's first wedding. They've never been healthy for each other, but theres something there that keeps bringing them back together, that brought them together in the first place, and that wedding day holds a special place in his heart. He buys Harold flowers on that anniversary every year, has them delivered 'anonymously' but clearly from him, always the same ones they had at the ceremony.

Liam is very rigid in his routines, but must remain flexible when it comes to day-to-day at the restaurant. Outwardly, especially if anyone else is around, he'll seem cool and collected, but the moment he's alone, that melts away.

THATS BECAUSE HE RECORDED A SEGMENT ON STREAM TODAY WHERE HE CORNERED RUBY ABOUT THEM COLLECTING IOUS. AND THE WAY HE ACTED WAS VERY.. FAMILIAR. VERY "tVIKING WHEN HAVING A VILLAIN MOMENT". WHICH, IN ITSELF, IS VERY "LATE S1 DOMINION VIKING".

on top of that, some of what he told cherruby was how an IOU can change the fate of a server, how much power they give over somebody, all stuff that was very he is speaking from personal experience.

what's Soundscapes, if you feel like talking about it? o:

hi yes hello! Soundscapes is a daydream universe we eventually wanna turn into Something, somehow, we just. dont really know what :,D

the joke pitch: just shapes and beats with furries, except we came up with it before playing jsab

the actual pitch: a group of plucky adventurers team up and travel through the titular Soundscapes to save them from a mysterious corruption. everyone has their own idea on how to stop the corruption's spread, but the protagonist Frequency is the only one able to reverse it and has to hurry to find the source before it's too late. each character is based off and named after a song, and it's very inspired by Audience! and the general joy and whimsy of making sparkledogs out of songs we love

the main protags are Frequency (Different Frequencies by Skyhill), LP (Louder & Prouder by Brooklyn Bounce and Sample Rippers), Cargo (Cargo by Puppet), and Radar (Radar by Fox Stevenson) :D together they're the Indies! i. dont have a group picture of all of them but here's like the only recent drawing i have of freq and lp together:

(she was originally named Stutter, after the Marianas Trench song, but bc of being a case of "design first song later" bc of being an old design we wanted to repurpose it didnt really fit and Louder & Prouder fits her vibe better)

it's uh. a lot more ambitious than Rescue because there are a lot of characters (it's a monster-of-the-week type story where each "episode" is them traveling to a new soundscape) and we don't have a lot of it worked out, but it's fun to come back to now and then when we want an excuse to just Design A Guy
