Shadpio AU with Perfect straight A student Espio x overly competitive school rival Shadow

Espio is a straight A and perfect student because he feels like he has to. Being pushed to be competitive in almost everything because of his foster parents. Not feeling passion for any of it at all. And believing he doesn’t deserve any of the prizes and awards hes won.

Shadow is Espio’s self proclaimed rival at school, believing Espio is just some stuck up brat that wins and steals any prize just fuel his own ego. Only to learn Espio never wanted to be this way, and instead has a secret passion in art instead.
