I have to ask, because I still haven't really worked this out and it's one of the things that's been bothering me since seeing eg, but if Steve went back and made an alternate timeline, exactly like the ancient one warned not to, how does he end up back in the main timeline? Unless the moment he leaves the 'main timeline' he comes back to is actually the alternate one he created? Because if he went off and created the alt he wouldn't end up back in the main. Won't even start on Loki lmao

Okay, so, Steve has a literal TIME MACHINE on his person, as well as Pym Particles. And, as the scene where Steve and Tony go back to 1970 from 2012 shows, you don’t NEED the machine to actually travel back in time, as long as you have Pym Particles.

So, my theory is, Steve lived his very long life in whatever alternate timeline (or timelines) and then used the time machine to go back to five seconds after he’d left (remember, Bruce said in that scene that Steve blew way past his timeline), so he could be waiting on the bench for Sam to give him the shield.

And Loki just exists in an alternate reality now, and I’m cool with that. I expect that was just our backdoor pilot for his Disney+ show. :)

It’s not something I’ve ever considered closely, but it could be fun? Are we thinking an ‘everyone is a merperson’ au? A retelling of the little mermaid where one of them gives up their life to live with the other? A merperson-stealing-a-human-to-the-deep au? More of a selkie-ish human-stealing-a-merperson au?

I absolutely loved Sharp Teeth and Bird Bones, so maybe something more like that in terms of not pulling any punches with the creature-feature aspect of it, and the kind of harsh brutality of the world, but also not as dark? My writing style makes you think I’d write something like Splash or The Little Mermaid, all with cute adapting-to-land moments and falling in love montages, but I think it would end up being somewhere in between.

Hey there! Yeah they’re in euros! And you’re probably right. It’s hard to decide which price I should ask when most of my commissioners are students and don’t have a full time job. Also when I’m usually very fast but also careful puting all the details and such. Should I charge more? Should I charge less? Same question over and over again. I always try to set an affordable price, though :)
