Donny Clutterbuck made this drink for the current tequila box @shakerandspoon with both Mexico and Italy in mind. This cool and bubbly highball gives the tequila a major lift with the slightly bitter and caramelized flavors of chinotto soda, finished with zingy rice wine vinegar and aromatic orange oil. I just came back from a five-day road trip in my very first RV experience. I am energized, it is so nice to be out there, even just a few hundred miles from home, but it fills my soul with deep appreciation of the beautiful things around me. I have always been a frequent traveler to exotic places, but I love our magic California. There is no other place I would rather live in the States.
