Things I Appreciate #465

My English teacher sitting down with me, and planning when and how I will be teaching Shakespeare.  THAT'S RIGHT.  I GET TO TEACH SHAKESPEARE TO A COLLEGE CLASS.  

And she talked with me for two hours.  It was magnificent.  

We're also going to be assigning optional homework over American Thanksgiving break, where their assignment is to watch Nothing Much To Do ( thecandlewasters ), Jules & Monty ( julesmonty ), and Blank Verse ( blankversetv ).

I'm so happy.  Jen is such an awesome teacher.  She got me talking about theatre, and costumes, and sets, and directing, and WE FREAKING MADE SOME DISCOVERIES (aka Rosie remembers that suicide wasn't a big thing unless you were a prisoner of war {correct me if I'm wrong} and DUH Romeo and Juliet were prisoner to their family feud hmmm).

I showed Jen what I had written up for decoding Shakespeare and she LOVED IT.  I get an entire class session to teach, show clips, and act out Shakespeare for my class.
