Freckles Are Foxy.
Shakko, from “Milkshake” at Suicide Girls.
I made seven different smoothie bowls for everyone please pick the ones you like. I made sure not to use any sweeteners and just use fruit and some flowers and nut. I hope everyone enjoys.
Touma was having a field day with his bowl, having latched onto the bowl filled with his favorite purple color with excited fervor. Kit was grinning as she tried to do damage control helping him eat (with a lot of mouth smacking and happy murrs from the young kitsune in question) without it going absolutely everywhere.
Byakko giggled grabbing one with the jelly hearts while Reiko grabbed the one with the most variety of fruits in it. Shakko tried a bite or two of hers and while he enjoyed it he silently laminated the lack of cakey goodness.
There was only one person that wasn't smiling at the table. Kuko stared down at the bowl with a neutral frown on his face, the only true indication of the emotions he felt with the agitated twitching of his tail and the slight furrowing of his brows.
"It's not going to bite you, you know?" Kit remarked wiping her son's face as the elder three decided to move outside to enjoy the cool treat in the sunshine.
"Why does she keep sending things?" 'for me' hung unsaid in the silver kitsunes distrustful tone, the tip of his tail giving another frustrated twitch.
"Because she's nice and she likes us." Kit replied calmly before humming happily taking a bite of Touma's bowl.
"She has no reason to. None." He said back tersely, glaring at the bowl remembering the rude greeting he had given her.
Kit looked up at him cautiously "She's just a good person Kuko. She's just being nice because she's our friend and she cares."
He stood abruptly anger flashing on his face "You trust too easy! You barely know this... this woman and she comes into our home uninvited and unannounced. Always bringing little 'treats' to gain ou- your trust." The silver haired kitsune started to pace, ears pressing back as he glared balefully at the treats in question.
"Kuko... it's not a trick or a trap. Moonlight is truly and genuinely our friend. She would never do anything to hurt us, the children or the Shrine." Kit tried to sooth him without any lucky as he bared his teeth at her and angrily snarled "That's what my kin thought when we trusted the monsters and look what happened to us!"
Touma's trademark smile dropped from his face, the colors on his echo parts wavering as he whimpered at the angry snarl making Kit stiffen. She took a deep calming breath petting his back as she stood "It's not the same as then Kuko. You know they didn't want what happened to happen either. They had no choice and the ones responsible have paid for their decision. You can't let what happened in the past hold you back from a happy future."
Umber eyes flicked to the upset little skeletal kitsune before Kuko tsked with his teeth before he disappeared with sudden gust of wind. Kit sighed and called out to the now hidden kitsune "I'll put yours in the fridge for when you're ready. And I'll be here if you need to talk." Receiving no answer she kissed Touma's cheek in reassurance, bouncing him to make his smile reemerge as she tidied the remaining food. "We'll send something special to Moonlight to thank her soon won't we little Flare? Yes we will! What will we do?" her voice trailed off as she left the room.
I made GRILLED SCALLOPS WITH LEMON AND HERBS and some Garlic Butter Steak and Potatoes Skillet today for you and the family today...... Oh look at the time I got to go! Bye!
Kit snickered watching the doll monster disappear as quickly as she disappeared. Her tails flicked in greater amusement at watching the micro expression of something a kin to disappointment before very keen interest pass across Kuko's face at the food.
Reiko and Shakko were busy yelling thanks at Moonlights retreated for the delicious food as the silver fox kitsune eagerly approached the plates. He quickly snatched one of the scallops up with his claw like nails and popped in into his mouth. A rare smile, not invoked by one of the children, graced his face as he murred lowly reaching for another as he chewed.
"You know you can make a plate right?" Kit asked amused making him give a even rarer flush, she was a little disappointed when his murring ceased and he frowned.
"I know... I was only... testing them." Kuko grumbled dishing more out onto a plate along with a sampling of the other items.
This time Kit didn't tease him when his murring eventually started back up.
I feel bad posting my dnd doodles on my art blog so they go here now
Happy Holidays from Shakko!
I made some fruit sandwiches for you and the family. I hope you enjoy and please give me feedback from Kuko.
The girls of the family cooed over how cute they were, especially the flower patterned ones.
The sliver haired kitsune looked disinterested, maybe a little disappointed "I told you I do not care for sweets."
Kit rolled her eyes picking up one of the strawberry and matcha tea cream filled ones walking over as Byakko gave him puppy dog (little kit?) eyes "But they're really nummy. Ms Moonlight always makes the best treats."
He opened his mouth again to protest only to give a surprised 'hrrk!" as Kit popped a corner of the sandwich in his mouth "They're very light and not sugary sweet." she said with a grin that grew as he bit of the corner off so he could give her a piece of his mind with an irritated glare.
Quick chews turned to a slow one before he finished it and he huffed looking off "It is acceptable."
Byakko giggled delightedly as the other two older kids snickered between bites. Kit smirked as Touma laughed eyelights and echo flashing as he clapped his hands, going back to her spot to share a sandwich with him. "They're delicious Moonlight dear, thank you!"
Re-found a cute picrew and decided to do all my kitsunes again and add the new ones.

Kit’s eyes flicked open, squinting at the bright light flooding the room. “Hmmmghhh…” she grumbled trying to hold onto the fleeting images from her dream that had been a happy one so much so she felt a great sadness that it was over.
“Uh oh, little one. Sounds like we woke up your Mother.” A familiar voice chuckled as another younger voice giggled merrily with a little “Mama!”
Raising upright Kit blinked blearily giving the tall skeletal figure a wry smile before reaching for her squirming toddler son in his arms “Come here my little Flare.” She laughed before kissing the little skeleton kitsunes cheek a kiss, his ecto ears and tail flickering little waves of colors before settling back to a soft purple that seemed to be his favorite. Kit shot Tamashii a look as he chuckled at the little ones babbling , lifting a brow in askance. “And pray tell what brings you to my room?
Tamashii shrugged abashedly, “We came for a visit and the others said you’d over done it recently and they were letting you have a lie in. I heard him start fussing and thought I could sneak him out before it woke you.”
“Tama see Tum~” Touma cooed at the skeleton. He cackled as the taller skeleton dropped his head in defeat.
“Is Father or Daddy so hard to say? Or Dada even?” Tamashii moaned in faux desolation, fighting down a smile as both kitsunes laughed at the mischief the youngest one preformed. He turned his back politely as Kit made to rise from the bed gathering up clothes.
“Or Touma for that matter. Tooouma. Hard ‘o’ little Flare.” Kit chastised his mispronunciation of his own name half-heartedly, booping his nasal bridge making him giggle more as he sang back a happy “Tuuuum!”
“Are the others here today too?” Kit asked taking herself and her son to the bathroom while she changed them both.
“Of course. Yurei couldn’t wait for another cooking session with the children or Kuko. And don’t worry, Seishin won’t let them burn the kitchen down.” Tamashii hastily added, sensing her about to throw open the door.
“They better not! I don’t want to have to make changes to the house again.” Kit said mock sternly opening the door, her smile faltering at the wash of odd déjà vu her own words caused. She didn’t make changes to the house… it did it itself as the family inside needed… weird that she’d even felt the urge to say that. She really had been over doing it lately… Doing what she wasn’t certain… It was just normal everyday things of late...
Shaking her head free of such thoughts, she walked over to Tamashii as he held open the door for them with a smile on his face for them to rejoin both their families in the kitchen.
