Inspired by the Pendulum concert I saw earlier this March, it was a goddamn blast to see them perform live. Unfortunately they didn't play The Tempest, the song used for this amv, at said concert, which is a shame because it's hands down one of my favourite Pendulum songs ever recorded. It's also a very long song that requires build up so I understand it not being played ever lmao.
ALSO FINALLY. I have made a proper Dynasty Warriors AMV. About DAMN time.
I've been itching to make a new amv for a long while, hell been wanting to make a Dynasty Warriors one for a while. And finally, after a lot of scrapped ideas and false starts, that very Pendulum concert would be the inspiration that helped me form together a solid vision for this brand new AMV.
All of the footage used in this amv is from Dynasty Warriors 8, and its all my own recordings. Still trying to get my elgato capture card up and running (LOL), but I hope to eventually capture audio in the future, amongst other scenes from other games that have eluded me for so long.
shout out to hayate from the dead or alive series, for being one of the most surprisingly politically charged characters to exist in a fighting game franchise.

This AMV is a remake of one of my earlier amvs from last year, and now with a little more experience under my belt with video editing, the new and improved version is finally here!
This improved version contains better editing, new and (mostly!) original footage recorded by yours truly, has slightly better audio mixing (kinda), but still tries to stick as closely as possible to the spirit, tone and bone structure of the original video. This new and improved version is ALMOST perfect to me. That said kinda forgot to lower the volume of the music a little oops, oh well! Just means if you're watching this to put the volume down a little more.
It's been a long time coming, I've been constantly teasing about making this specific amv for a while. It just took a little longer to get around to because I got distracted by other hyperfixations haha.
But now I'm back on my Dead or Alive bullshit! Plus it was a joy to get back into video editing again. The last one I made was... March-April? So yeah it's been a little overdue in making a new amv haha.
At least 99.9% of the video game footage used is my own! This is all thanks to the use of an Elgato Capture card, which let me record cut-scene footage of DOA6 and DOA5. However, that remaining 1% is not my own, and is instead accredited to the use of footage from the original 2018-2019 Dead or Alive 6 Reveal Trailer, which can be found here.
