Number 24, 'Shallow', is a tribute to 'Beauty and the Beast' from 1991.

They made a real life adaptation in 2017 where Luke Evans plays Gaston, and I think my favourite line from that movie is when Lefou says: 'There's a beast running wild there's no question, but I fear the wrong monster's released.'.

So this is my take on Gaston's Shallowness

We live in a shallow world. I used to be shallow too, especially regarding girlfriends (I valued their beauty and family background over their brain, hard work and goodness - hopefully, I learned about that too).

This shows that philosophers aren't any different from the rest of the world, and that's why there are so many conservative Slovenian philosophers who are prone to greed for power, fame, and money while they talk about Socrates' modesty and unwillingness to take money for his services and mocking fame.

Basically what went on and I saved this like a month ago into my phone. Totally intuition was in tune with his real vibes.

I find the whole American belief that “if you work hard, you’ll succeed” too shallow. Not everyone is equipped to fulfill emotionally draining 100K jobs. And just because those who work part-time or even simple jobs that others would consider “dead end” or “non challenging and dull” doesn’t make those who work at them less valuable and worthy. Like I had mentioned several times, people are born with different talents and abilities. If you have a problem with that then maybe you can mind your own business and keep your mouth shut because you are not the one walking in those peoples shoes.
