I just don’t get why Nick had to do Hydra cap in the first place. He claims to be an ally, but allies don’t have to bring other white male positive symbols down to make themselves look good.
he’s a hack writer at best who substitutes shock value and/or heavy handed and clumsy “both sides are equally bad” storytelling for any kind of actual nuanced or thoughtful discussion of political issues. he thinks he’s infallible and because he’s designated himself “an ally” he can do whatever the fuck he wants and doesn’t have to listen to anyone else, most especially not those people who are actually, you know, affected.
