Morganville: The Series: Glass House
I was possessed by the art demons and decided to draw the bulk of the main cast of major characters from Morganville Vampires.
No, I'm not okay.
Gangs all here in this row.
I've drawn Myrnin many ways before, but I wanted to differentiate him from how I draw Conway as well as not as stylized as in my Morganville/Doctor Who comic. So meet whatever version this is. I'm decently sure I've drawn Claire before, but this isn't anywhere near like that.
I had the hardest time with Shane and Eve and easiest time with Myrnin (I better, I've drawn him similar to this since 2017) and Claire. I'm aware Michael doesn't look like how he does in canon, but I make the rules in my house. :P I think I like how Myrnin, Eve, and Amelie turned out the most. Mostly because I had the most fun with their outfits.
I've drawn Amelie once before and I kept her being Short and on a similar height level to Claire. I also gave her A Stick because it looked cool.
Oliver got to keep his salt-and-pepper widow's peak too from my prior designs. Re: fun and why not. I take a joy in giving long eyelashes to grumpy characters. It gives character to who I would otherwise give squinty eyes and keeps me accountable for actually giving their faces character.
Might draw more characters if anyone wants to drop suggestions.
Dean Winchester 🤝 Shane Collins
“Did I forget to say thanks? Because, thanks. Best Coke ever. Did you make it yourself? Special recipe?”
I’m extremely glad that I decided to read, and re-read Morganville Vampires. Like, some of the shit Shane says has me laughing out loud😂🥺
10 CHARACTERS I WOULD KISS - TAG GAME
I was tagged by @crazyfreckledginger @pythiaaa @rason-rodd-random and @queen-fighter
Deciding who to put on this list took a hot minute and I'm starting at 10 (least likely) and ending with 1 (most likely)
10. Edward Cullen (sorry, but my high school fangirl heart requires it).
9. Jay Corgan
8. Roy Harper
7. The Tenth Doctor
6. Barry Allen
5. Cisco Ramon
4. Tim Drake (He gets, like, no love and so deserves it. Also, there is a severe lack of Tim gifs so he gets a picture that can do him justice).
3. Dick Grayson (Dick is the first Robin I met and was introduced to so he has a special place in my heart. Also, I prefer the blue Nightwing for him but this is an awesome gif so)
2. Shane Collins (both book series and webshow version but mostly book series because there's so much more content and Shane gets to be really defined and fleshed out and able to grow A LOT in the book series. Jordan Farris is amazing, though, and did a fantastic job).
1. Jason Peter Todd (RHATO/Dexter Soy!Jason is my favorite version and I love to look at those drawings of him so he also gets a picture. Dick may have been the first Robin in my heart but Jay is my favorite Robin and I will love him always. He is very near and dear to me, which is why he gets the first spot. He's also really amazing and does so much and works so hard to protect people who don't always appreciate him and all that he does. I love this nerdy, angst basket, bad boy with a heart of gold who will fiercely protect not just those he cares about but also innocent people who really need it. He also deserves to be fiercely protected in return).
I'm going to tag @asanotheronebitesthedust and @jaybeartodd if they so desire to complete this.
Omg
Oh my Chuck, Bishop escaped?! That's why they should have killed his ass. I don't believe killing someone who would kill you without question doesn't make you a bad person.
And it's kind of cool to get to see inside Shane's head from first person.
I redrew the faces of an old doodle with the Reilly method: I’m shook.
