Thinking about Yang Cheng and Shang Chao because they're so tragic like

YCs biggest insecurity is his lack of trust points, his lack of parents, and ability to be taken seriously for who he is.

SC has parents, connections, money, and everything that YC doesn't

YC is insecure about this, and when the Enlightener is making his points, which all revolve around YC being incapable, he gets depressed.

SC casually laughs and brushes off his own achievements, saying they're only because of his father's connections. And heres the thing.

He is most likely saying this because he genuinely believes it isn't impressive, he didn't do the work for it, so he shouldn't be praised. Meanwhile YC worked hard for all his achievements, which is why SC was drawn him.

And yet, it's because SC can so easily brush aside his insane privilege that YC feels disconnected from him. He actively walks behind him, not saying anything until spoken to, because he feels like he isn't worthy in some way.

Anyway I think they should kiss about it.
