Stones, wines, mirrors?
Fallen London OC Ask meme
stones: which quirks (ruthless, melancholy, etc.) would be their top three? which chiropteromantic zodiac sign do they have?
Morgan: Austere, Melancholy, Steadfast, the Rat
Eliot: Hedonist, Ruthless, Melancholy, the Lovers
wines: if your oc was a companion, what stat boosts (or penalties) would they give? what would be their ingame title and description?
Morgan (they can be bought at Mr Chimes’ Lost-and-Found, and probably first appeared in an Exceptional Story where you help them do a heist to steal back their soul)
The Sanguine Scholar-Captain They are constantly engaged in various activities, from paleontology to zailing to assassinations. But when you can pull their attention away from their work, they can be a great help. The Scholar-Captain is a companion who will work in your laboratory. Watchful +7; Dangerous +5; Kataleptic Toxicology +1.
Eliot (pre/during Seeking):
The Insatiable Physician He’s quick with a scalpel, and just as quick with a knife or a sharp smile. As an extremely popular doctor, he’s a great friend to have. But perhaps don’t accept his dinner invitations. Persuasive +8; Respectable +2; Mithridacy +1.
Eliot (post Seeking):
The Keen-Eyed Cardshark Since he returned to London, he’s mostly found playing cards by the docks. His reputation and career never recovered from his brief mental break, but he can occasionally be persuaded to provide discrete medical services for a fee. Shadowy +8; Bizarre +2; Wounds -1.
mirrors: what would their parabolan reflection look like? which dream quality fits them the most, thematically?
Employ the Reflection of the Sanguine Scholar-Captain Their dream-self is somewhat hard to catch.
Frenetic Excitement They never stop moving, but when you manage to catch up to them, they’re eager to help with your research. They pace as they look over your notes, and you see their skin start to flake off; it’s paint, and as it falls away, you can see the pistons powering them, with a small measure of steam escaping as they move around. They return your notes to you, and what you manage to make out from their rushed handwriting is quite helpful.
Employ the Reflection of the Keen-Eyed Cardshark His eyes shine in the light of the cosmogone sun.
Indulgent Assistance He is perfectly friendly and sociable in the Is-Not, where he is bitter and catty in the Is. He’s dressed like he’s on his way to a party, and agrees to help as a personal favor to you, his friend. When he works, you can see the seams on him, spiderweb cracks across every part of him you can see. It’s as if he were made of porcelain, once broken and since repaired.

Well. This may be too obvious but fuck it, how can i not... 44, taakitz
“If you die, I’m gonna kill you.” Taako stuck his finger in his slightly-more-than-friend-don’t-make-a-thing-about-it-okay Kravitz’s face. “I don’t have any slots to waste on that healing bullshit, so just-”
“It’s just a scratch,” Kravitz protested. He was still carrying a trace of his work accent, his features unusually pale as he leaned back into the couch. “I just need a minute.”
“Because you’re getting blood all over the cushions, and if Ango comes in here with his grandkids thinking there’s some kind of boy mystery to solve that’s on YOU, my man-”
“Taako, just…”
“I mean, you can’t even die, am I right? What’s with these theatrics?”
He wheezed, and it became a hacking cough. When he recovered, he looked up and saw the elf frozen in place.
“You CAN’T die, right?” Taako laughed, the sound of it stop-start and cracking. “That, you’re like, immortal and shit, so. I mean you wouldn’t.”
Kravitz closed his eyes, concentrating on pulling back his mortal shell. His mind got stuck on it sometimes, forgot that it was one more thing that could be shed. Being stuck in that mindset too often, that was the dangerous part.
He stood, placing one skeletal hand on Taako’s shoulder. “I’m right here,” he said.
Taako grabbed his hand, seemingly unconcerned about the bones, the cold, the unnaturalness of it. He was looking hard at the floor, but when he spoke his voice was under control. “Good.”
