SHAPE RACER DEV UPDATE:
This one is oozing with content!
Since the last update I gave, additions include:
Stable test versions for the Cube and Pyramid racers
Semi-stable test version of the Sphere racer
Prototype directional indicator
and even a (clunky) semi-functional rewind feature!
More tweaks, updates, and fun to come!

NEW SHAPE RACER UPDATE!!!
So far we have:
Mechanics finished for the Cube.
Development started for the pyramid.
Small test designs for potential course shapes.
Five course themes to be announced at a much later date.
and most importantly:
A delta time multiplier has been implemented to account for frame rates!
I also have accounted for lag spikes as well (hopefully)!

More progress on Shape Racer!
Experimenting with the colors, also have built a final prototype for the "cube" racer. I also made the camera slightly more zoomed in, but like the colors it will probably change many times. Next step will probably be working on other shapes and their movement styles.

This is a dev entry for Shape Racer, an isometric geometric racing game based around movement. Cube, for example is fast, but only has 4 directions. Pyramid has 8 and is slightly slower. Sphere has every direction but is the slowest. By slowest I don't mean top speed, I just mean fastest acceleration.
Behind the Scenes Look: Shape Racer
While it may not look like much, what you see here will eventually end up becoming an isometric racing game!
As you can see I have been working on acceleration and direction, with some work to do on changing gears from forward to backwards.
Eventually each different shape should move differently, and have different speeds.
The cube will be the fastest, but good luck on some turns. Other shapes to follow later...
