Today marks a historic and extraordinary milestone in the history of the @worldeconomicforum and the @globalshaperscommunity: Young People will be the face and leaders of Davos 2019! Each year Co-Chairs of the Annual Meeting take a principal role in developing the discussion, and for the first time, six Global Shapers will serve as Co-Chairs alongside Jim Yong Kim President of the World Bank and Satya Nadella, Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft. It is critical to engage youth in global dialogue, and this is an important step. I applaud the World Economic Forum for putting young people in charge.
