And...have you read actual Arthur Conan Doyle stories? I have read a few and I was at first a bit amazed ( and happy ) to find how humane Sherlock's charecter is than he has been portrayed in numerous adaptations. Personally I fell in love with the charecter so much ( god I don't know...even if people think I am mad I will say it again and again that he is really a pure soul). That's my POV tho. What do you think?

100% agree on sherlock’s char!!! 💘 why i love bbc sherlock so much ... it brings him to life the way the books read. my dad was the only one that saw him that way, and it was a big connection for us. reading all the books and watching every adaptation we could possibly get our hands on!

ACD (like Watson) was clearly in love with him. Sherlock is amazing and really CARES about people so much in the books!!! 📚 it's been a while tho, and I would like to read them again!

I will share happy with you!

This hasn't been a good week, overall. So I've decided to make it better by sharing with you lot some things that make me happy. I'm starting with: Tabletop!

Wil Wheaton hosts this regular show on YouTube, all about playing interesting games with interesting people. Some episodes are a little dry, but most of them are really fun. There are a lot of very silly people on there. Well, obviously. It's mostly geeks & nerds, and my nerds are silly people when they relax. 

Anyway. Even if you're not a geek, and even if you don't think you enjoy tabletop games, it's worth checking out a few episodes. My two favourites, personally, are Zombie Dice and Gloom. The Zombie Dice episode is great because it's a collection of 3 different, very short, very fast, very fun games. I've picked up Zombie Dice since watching that episode, and my 6-year-old son often really enjoys playing it. The Gloom episode is great because it's kind of a weird card game, but part of the fun is that you make up stories about why these horrible things are happening; one of the guests that week is Amber Benson, who is both an actress and a writer, and she has this phenomenal quick wit and gift for nimble storytelling, plus a morbid streak a mile wide, and I personally found it hysterical to watch her explain what was happening and freak out some of the other players. Actually, I'm going to add Dixit to the list, because that game was seriously weird and incomprehensible until I actually saw it played and then I went OH MY GOD I NEED THIS GAME IN MY LIFE. Dixit cannot be explained, you just need to watch people play it.

There are other great episodes, and obviously other people are going to have other preferences. That's great! I highly recommend watching it and seeing what you think. I'm willing to bet most of you would find at least one game that you love.
