Great white sharks are definitely not monsters, but they are very capable #apexpredators who deserve a very high level of respect and understanding that they generally hunt marine mammals who are much more efficient than we are and rarely make a mistake #incredible. It’s been an honor to spend time studying them year after year and every year my appreciation grows. I think what fascinates me most is their language but also perhaps the extended time that they seem to take to talk things out with one another.
