Sharks are strong brave and a symbol of power and strength. They are overall misunderstood creatures often seen as violent. And many die every year because of humanity's fear. When really they are beautiful creatures who are just seen as the villains because of what people have been seeing them as for years.

Yes, even archivists love Shark Week! Especially during a pandemic, when we can only rewatch JAWS! and dream of returning to the beach.

These highlights from our records show that the National Archives holds far more than just annual reports, briefing papers, and admin logs!
