Someone has DEFINITELY done this already but I couldn’t find them in my hour of need, so here’s the Knifechild I made to fill the gap.

A while back I mentioned that I had to use a homemade knife to split my meds because I don’t have a pill splitter.

I still don’t have one but if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Here’s my baby btw. Stepdad made it for me. Deer antler handle with a blade made from a repurposed rotary saw blade. He explicitly told me the hooked end is called a “gut ripper.” He’s a hunter & fisherman but I mean, c’mon, “gut ripper?!” How metal is that?

I call it my khopesh because it’s similar in shape to those ancient Egyptian swords (just much smaller), but really it’s just a badass knife made from material he had in the garage. He also made the leather sheath for it (not pictured of course).
