i feel like zomboss is autistic-coded... or asperger-coded !

his special interests are thanatology and robotics/inventing. in plants vs. zombies: official guide to protecting your brains, his interests are listed as “the in-depth discussion of dead things; world domination”. also in battle for neighborville, it is confirmed he had been doing science since childhood.

he’s socially awkward at times and misses social cues. he also tends to not realize when he’s hurting people; specifically in bully for you, when all of his bullying was just him pranking his friends in his mind. he is a performer however, he does theater and gives speeches. it’s probably helping with his social awkwardness ! and he’s not a very social person regardless.

also, he does seem to stim. when he raises his voice, slams things and grabs at himself, he’s probably stimming. he also talks with his hands a lot. this can be seen in some of the cutscenes and trailers for garden warfare and garden warfare 2.
