Harsh? Maybe. Accurate? Absolutely 😼📚 No books means no edge, no spark, and no clear direction—just vibes and dull pencils ✏️😏 Sharpen your life. Read something.
RIP to Maki Kaji, the "godfather" of Sudoku, a popular logic puzzle I truly loved and helped me throughout my adult years to keep my mind sharp, particularly after those heavy all nighters working on project drinking what one could plausibly interpret as jet fuel of over 10 octane after a certain hour..... #sodoku #makikaji #logicgames #sharpminds #staysharp #pushiittothelimit #practivemakesperfect #mindoverpower #logicoverphysicalforce #boardgames #admiration #passtime #hobby https://www.instagram.com/p/CSr7mK6r1Mt/?utm_medium=tumblr
STALE FOOD DULLS SHARP MINDS?
The popular phrase,
“You are what you eat”,
takes on new meaning
if you consume overnight food.
Especially rice, potato, spinach,
mushroom or beetroot.
While many know that
recooking causes loss of nutrients,
not many know that it also makes
some food “heavy” and hard to digest,
causing the food to remain longer in the stomach,
which in turn encourages toxins to build up.
Makes sense then that stale food
can cause gas and that bloated feeling.
But studies now reveal
it can also trigger joint problems,
aggravate hair loss and even
set off bouts of indigestion.
Studies also reveal 80%
of our dis-ease is linked food,

I have always thought our traditional Chinese parents
were wasteful when they threw out leftovers.
But later, I learned that Indians too
disapprove of leftovers, especially rice.
If one is acting stupid,
they’ll tease that one must have had
eaten stale rice!
This singular belief
advocated by two diverse culture
is truly food for thought.

#Repost @la_passionate with @repostapp ・・・ You’re highly curious – If you’re the type of person who is constantly searching the web, researching different things and are always up to date on a plethora of different subjects, then you might be a genius. Geniuses are inherently curious beings, always questioning and wanting to know more about the world that surrounds them. You talk to yourself – A genius’ mind is always running, sorting through problems, listening to the back and forth dialogues surrounding different ideas and arguments. It just makes sense that sometimes one of your voices needs to be heard aloud. You have a love of reading – While some people might enjoy reading the occasional book from time to time, geniuses ready pretty much everyday. Whether it be one specific genre of novel that you like to read or a myriad of different genres, if you’re consistently finding new books to read, you’re probably a tad on the genius side. You can be forgetful – Your average genius oftentimes has a lot on their mind. Complicated and intense thoughts can overwhelm the mind so much so that basic and common-sensical things get forgotten. So, if you’re constantly losing your stuff and forgetting to be certain places at certain times, you might be a genius. You overanalyze and worry about things – A genius understands that as one progresses through life, one continuously grows, matures and changes as a person, whether it be subtly or dramatically. They understand that nothing is ever truly black and white, and that there are gray areas everywhere. This leads them to be full of doubt, as nothing is ever set in stone. High intelligence often breeds notions of inadequacy. #knowledge #information #wisdom #genius #sharpminds #iq #iqpower
