He tweeted the following: "I couldn't think of a better gift for my family than announcing that I've officially agreed to terms on an EXCLUSIVE contract with @ringofhonor for 2019! 11 years my family has watched my journey, every show, every day away, every hardship, every trial and tribulation has gotten me to this point. I know now, what I'm meant to do in this world, in this sport, in this business and I was put here to MAKE HISTORY and CHANGE THE GAME! You can bet, that's exactly what I'm going to do, on one of the world's biggest stages. #TheMovement goes through me and I will continue to #LeadByExample and #ShatterTheGlassCeiling for those who have come before me and those after. Shane has spent the last 5 of his 11 years as a Pro Wrestler appearing for ROH and this year was somewhat of a breakout year for the agile heavyweight having challenged for the ROH TV Championship and having a highly acclaimed match with Jeff Cobb back in August. Taylor has found success in outside of ROH this year also but now looks set to only be seen in an ROH ring throughout 2019!
