Patriot: Rayshaun Lucas and Elijah Bradley

Today if a twofer, because I didn't realize until I was making them that there were 2 Patriots (not at the same time).

One of the founding members of the Young Avengers, Eli Bradley comes from a long line of superheroes. He and Kate Bishop were unofficial leaders of the team until he left the team, following the events of Children's Crusade

Debuting in June of 2017, Rayshaun Lucas played a fairly large role on the early issues of Secret Empire. After Hydra's Fall, he became Falcon's apprentice.

A  mysterious man visits the imprisoned Falcon (Sam Wilson) and All-New Patriot (Rayshaun Lucas). He offers to help them as long as they agree to join him. When Falcon turns him down, the mysterious man reveals himself in his true form known as Blackheart the demon lord. The duo are attacked by Blackheart’s demons in the cell. The duo try to fight off the demonic bugs in the cell until Doctor Voodoo turns up just in time to help them.

Patrios gets a girlfriend :D

Falcon #6 allows Sam to spent some time with Misty Knight and discuss their relationships and his own insecurities, while Patriot gets only few smaller pages. And to be honest at first I felt he will get only one, but then they kept building up his new love interest...until the last page hit us with the cliffhanger when the plot came calling for Rayshaun. You see, Deacon Frost is targetting Sam and people he cares about because if he destroys him, Mephisto will grant him and his followers their wishes. It is a good setup and I like how it tied Shau’s subplot to something although I hope that Brittany wasn’t introduced only to have some DRAMA happen to him and this won’t go into the fridging territorry.
