shavonna's playable chapters in game.
' i'm not on anyone's side. that's their problem with me, isn't it? ' shavonna had her fair share of enemies ; humans and androids alike. she was wanted across detroit for several muders, only known as the mercenary to the authorties. not even her model type had been released - they really had nothing but her repuation to go on, and that reputation differed within the cities separate circles. the deviants of jericho believed her to be a threat, not an ally. markus had been the only one to give her a chance, even though she hadn't asked him to. shavonna could be both, or neither. her allegiance was to herself. but part of her wanted to see markus succeed which, she supposes, is why she had come back to see him. ' do you trust me? to do the right thing? ' shavonna's brow furrowed as she looked up at the leader, giving nothing away. ' when it comes down to it, the fight - do you believe i'll have your back? ' she's not even sure if she would be, but if markus believed in her... she thought she could. @ephemaera.

a danger to herself and others. that's what law enforcement and the media have been saying about her since she was able to escape the eden club. and perhaps they weren't wrong, after all. where her first kill had been self defense, fully and wholly, the rest were questionable, at best. shavonna has come to terms with the nature of her violence, and how she thought it was for the good of those around her, even if others didn't see it that way. there were humans who deserved to die, and androids who deserved to live without abuse, and she was simply doing what she thought was right in this world. the police and those who spread lies of her on television could say what they like. none of it mattered to shavonna, anymore.
'i didn't expect you to be up for another few hours,' shavonna was just tying the laces of her boots, shrugging on the hooded jacket she wore every day to hide herself from security cameras and passerby. there were few places she could go, now, where she wouldn't be noticed or harmed. here, with viktor, was one of those places. and she hasn't admitted it aloud yet, but she is more appreciative than she lets on. 'there are a few things i need to take care of. i was planning on getting them done before you noticed i was gone,' if nothing else, he deserved honesty. he's at least earned that. 'if you'll have me, i'll be back before noon,' @frightes.
he's been following her. further than any other detective had. shavonna had to wonder if he was part of the homicide division, if he worked with that drunk lieutenant who rarely ever cared about finding her. asher levy is his name. shavonna hadn't learned it intentionally, but the research she had done on the man told her more than she needed to know. now, they stand in front of each other - shavonna, more vulnerable than she would like. but she was tired of running. if he wanted to catch her so bad, here she was. 'i won't go with you willingly. one of us is going to get hurt, or worse, if you try,' eyes land on his, stony and unreadable. 'or, you can ask what really happened. at the eden club,' a pause. 'i'll tell you. you just have to believe me,' @lghtyear / sc.
with how much she doubted the revolution, now that it's started, and how little faith she initially had in markus, shavonna supposed she could understand north's distaste for her. but shavonna didn't want to get her hopes up. put all of her dreams in one android and see him fail, and worse, be killed. she thinks they're all well aware of how dangerous this fight is going to be, and it's possible that none of the deviants of jericho will survive. that's all shavonna has been doing - surviving. she doesn't know how to do anything else. and as much as she was tired of hiding and running, she didn't want to be let down so drastically when the humans decided to fight back. 'yell at me, if it makes you feel better,' shavonna's voice is level, not exactly calm, but flat enough to seem it as she speaks to north. 'i'm not convinced this is the best way to do it, and i'm not convinced of your messiah, either. unlike some, i don't follow blindly,' @dcviline.
LILY BONACORSO: IT LOOKS BROKEN. CAN YOU MOVE IT? 'no,' she's attempting to lift the arm that doesn't blend in with the rest of her body, to no prevail. though it's not necessarily broken. it simply doesn't fit with the rest of her body ; a part that's not compatible with her model. it was the only option, at the time, and shavonna needed an arm. she couldn't function with just one, even if this one only works half the time. 'it's unpredictable. could be dead for an hour or two ; maybe more, maybe less,' other hand shakes the dead arm to no prevail, frustration creasing between brows. useless thing. 'i'll just have to work with one arm, for now,' @bladedflower.
JACKSON AVERY: 032. A SOLEMNLY QUIET HOSPITAL ROOM. alert. wary. eyes dart to exit options ; she'll jump from the window, if she has to. though she wouldn't get far. not with the gash in her side, leaking thirium onto the examination table. she can't feel pain, but she can feel her body slowly inching towards deactivation - if shavonna loses much more blood, the pump within her chest will simply stop working. feeling the effects within her ocular unit and audio processors, shavonna also realizes that her faulty arm has stopped working, as well. wild eyes move to the doctor who had snuck her in here. it's late. quiet. if any nurses were to walk in, they would both be in trouble. 'you should have left me where you found me,' shavonna breathes, holding a hand over her wound. 'there's nothing you can really do for me here,' @frightes.
