While I haven’t had the social energy to share much lately, I have still been crafting these past few months. I could keep agonizing over not having done a nice photo shoot, or over not having the perfect things to say...but I’ve decided to get back into the habit of posting and let the rest just be. This is the Ginko Crescent shawlette I knit back in July after the first round of Tour de Fleece. The yarn is handspun that I held double for extra squishy marled goodness. The singles were spindle spun mainly while vending at fiber festivals in 2019. In May I finished the singles and wheel plied it just before TdF. #yarnlovechallenge Day 3: Soothing Tonight, my dose of soothing is reading #lumberjanes (one of my favorite graphic novels) while I knit with one of my favorite yarns, which is nothing but alpaca and silky goodness. Also, everything matches! The cover and the yarn both have those greens and oranges going on. Plus, this colorway of @lattesandllamasyarn #escapeyarn was actually named after the series! If you're into friendship and stories that are in the vein of #buffythevampireslayer meets #gravityfalls, then you should give Lumberjanes a try.
