Holy fuck wow uh more shian thoughts! I just finished last week's reddit stories and I was thinking about something. The last story really hit for some reason.
Not like... Grief but Shayne coming to terms that with Ian there's always gonna be a place for Anthony in his heart. Whether it be completely platonic or something else he understands it. He doesn't get mad or jealous like others would expect and maybe that's because he understands how the human brain works or maybe it's what keeps him sane. I don't know just knowing Ian's close to Anthony and he knows it's something he can't change nor wants to. Anthony brings out a light in him that, while it hurts just a bit, only he can bring out. But he also knows that he's the one Ian chose. The one Ian comes home to at night. The one that he talks to first about things that are bothering him or complains about work to. Ian chose Shayne and that's good enough for him.
I don't know this is probably dumb but yee I love these two y'know??
Okay okay so I was on TikTok and somebody was saying Shayne is like a sunflower and I was like awe he really is! And then my brain was like sunflowers follow the sun and then I was like... Wait. WAIT.

Caught between shian cheating fic (aka beanbag chair story but with shian while Ian's with Anthony) and antmien fic where they're kinda friends with benefits (aka Anthony takes Damien out to dinner then pounds him into the mattress any time Ian goes on a date while Damien has a crush on him and he doesn't even know what's going on)
Shian thoughts hit me while I was watching the newest Reddit stories
Sunday night football. A routine of theirs now. Ian laying in Shayne's lap as he scrolled on his phone. Shayne's hand playing with his hair while the other held a beer that he sipped on occasionally. Ian didn't understand why he enjoyed watching it but it made him happy and he was happy to just sit comfortably with him doing his own thing. Parallel play as they called it. Though he would get jostled at times when there was a particularly good play (apparently. He didn't really understand the game) as Shayne's hand left his hair to fist bump the air before going back to what it had been doing. It was quite cute how excited he was about the sport. Ian sat up and gave him a chaste kiss before laying back in his lap. Shayne looked down at him with a soft smile caressing his cheek before he turned his attention back to the TV. Though this might not have been his thing Ian was learning to enjoy his Sunday nights more.
Saw @jaxthejester do it and of course from the lovely @lilac-hecox who started it! I wanted to see how people have perceived my writing and while I only have a few in actually pretty proud! Let the wrapped begin!

None of these really surprised me. The kinktober one of course would always be on top and plain shian smut followed by the first shian fic I worked on seems pretty on par! While I'm not exactly proud of every chapter of the kinktober fic I'm proud of it overall as a challenge to my writing so I'm grateful and HMDWSP is still one of my favorites that I've written! And don't worry those who are still waiting I will continue A Paradise Full of Lies don't worry! Overall this is all understandable and I'm proud of the works!

The first two I get but Show Me How It Ends? I'm glad people liked that one I was rather proud of it when I wrote it and still am to a degree but now I feel like it's a testament of my writing! It being the first antmien fic makes me very happy also so I feel like I will always love it.

Of course Kinktober was number one but damn antmien makes me write for some reason 😅 Show Me How It Ends was my longest oneshot and then TTMTSTWOD turned into my longest one and I swear the one I'm writing is going to get away from me. Antmien just gets me inspired!
Overall, this has been the most progressive time for me writing wise! And I've also just loved this fandom and how much it cares for its writers! I feel like I've gotten the most heartfelt and just lovely comments that warm my heart than I have in all my years of writing fics! I love this fandom and love the ships I write for and I feel like I've improved somewhat and that makes me so proud. Thank you all!
It's been a while but I'm thinking shian thoughts ansn
Shayne with his stupid big arms and Ian who can't stop staring at them/talk about them. Anthony was in the audience for the last tntl (as seen from his comment on insta) so there's no doubt Ian was there too watching Shayne get stuck in that shirt and while it makes him laugh his mind also starts wandering. He's always joked about Shayne's arms and physique but fuck if it wasn't something. He wonders how easily his friend could probably pick him up and after that it gets more... Interesting until he realizes he's been staring a little too hard a little too long before Shayne gives him a joking wink and a laugh and he's flushing. Fuck-
A thought before I go to bed (I know this happens almost every night but still lol)
Shayne and Ian getting drunk together laughing at dumb things faces red and warm from the alcohol and laughing and maybe something else. Roughhousing until someone's pinned to the floor and then their panting then they kiss and it's slow and dirty but it's nice. Languidly running their tongues together as they get closer pressing flush gently rutting against each other as one holds the others shirt tightly as if they might disappear. Soft noises and panting breaths are swallowed and it's not long before they're both cumming in their pants like teenagers soft whines as they do and suddenly everything feels too real. They can't deal with it so they stay on the floor in each other's arms trying not to think too hard, heads already pounding and one rubs the others back comforting them as they fall asleep on the floor. They'll probably have to talk in the morning but at the moment that was fine.
