she smiles in kind and takes the white box from the delivery person before closing the door of her office shut and stepping forward to delicately place it on top of her mahogany desk. amelia could feel her tiny smile widen as she reads the note; her cheeks grow warm when she reaches the end. she lays the note off to the side and opens the box only to let out a soft ‘oh’ when her eyes feasts on the delectable treats that raven gifted her. lia plucks out the pistachio éclair and takes a bite without hesitation. as she chews, her eyes slide shut and lets out a satisfied moan.
