“A Succubus or Incubus ‘feeding’ is... them doing what they do as Succubus and Incubus, right?”
“The winged mount that bears you, do they have a name?”

It's well past dark when Logan gradually slows to a stop in the middle of a wooded path. The forest yawns around him, trees distorted in the half-light of the moon, but the mutant seems unbothered by the press of darkness. He tips his head back, inhaling slowly to scent the air, one booted foot coming down deliberately on a dried twig. Its resulting Snap! announces Logan's presence better than words, seeming too-loud in the unnatural quiet of the woods.
He's being watched.
"... I ain't here for trouble, y'know." The Canuck finally says, posture shifting until he's leaning back against the trunk of a tree, painting the very image of nonchalance. He crosses his arms over his chest, relaxes into a waiting pose, "... this is what you might call a... social visit."

She's been watching him for some time now, gliding near silently from tree to tree to observe from favoured vantage points. The croaking of other ravens indicate her presence, but only if one knew how to separate their calls from her own. Not many were capable to enter the woods without Sonja becoming aware of their presence, if she didn't see them first or hear them, the calls of the animals dwelling in the forest would attract her attention soon enough. The sun had begun to set, allowing the cover of darkness to cloak her from sight and swoop in closer to get a better look at the visitor.
The forest was quiet, almost eerily so. Had it been a human wandering in after dark, she would have dove and scared them off. Worsened the rumour of the wild woman that dwelt in the trees. The twig snapping beneath the man's foot echoed loudly, almost startling her. Enough to make her rustle her feathers loudly, a early warning to reveal she was here and she was watching.
"I've heard that before." The raveness calls back, then opens her wings to glide from her perch to a branch a little closer to him. She's curious, but still a good distance away. Sonja would take off at a moment's notice at the slightest hint of trouble, but indulge her curiosity in the meantime. It wasn't often another feral came to her woods, nor one who was able to track her as she moved about the treetops. "I'm not in the habit of receiving visitors.....particularly american ones. Well, your accent sounds Canadian but the sentiment is all rather the same."
She drops down to a lower branch still, folding her wings tightly behind her back and looking at him with her head cocked to the side. The moon's light isn't bright enough to make her wholly visible, but enough to paint her general outline and face. If he's even slightly like her, it shouldn't be a problem to see her.
"Why have you come here, to my woods? What could you possibly want from me? There's no maple syrup to be had here."

The sea. It was something she could love about this place. Something familiar yet different. The species that inhabited were drastically less hostile than the ones she knew in her home’s waters but still they were amusing to watch flitting through the water. Though the pressure at certain depths was comforting, it was never truly enough to even come close to Yuva’s. It was familiar but not the same, even so she found solace in the depths of it all. She’d wanted to relax, take time away from the chaos that surrounded her and the anxieties of potentially causing undue harm to her comrades, so she’d come here instead of locking herself in her lab. Really, she’s unsure of how long she’d been out here now. A couple vargas? Maybe the entire solar cycle? A hum in her throat, she brought herself to the surface of the water only to find herself blinking in mild surprise that there was a vessel on the water’s surface.
Ah right, humans did not primarily swim, did they? Boats or the like were what they used to travel their seas. Curiosity had always been a prevalent trait of hers, something she could rarely part from and often leading her to be far more blunt than one would expect from her. Was she curious though? Of course. She wanted to know the ins and out of how they traveled. Why they chose these vessels over other more efficient ones. So, as always, that curiosity led her actions and she found herself perched over the edge of this structure. Green hues peered about the deck, eyeing it all as her markings cycled and pulsed with that soft blue and violet hue that reacted to her emotive state. It wasn’t until she found herself staring at another bi-pedal creature that she blinked, ducking down a bit and watching for a moment longer.
So it really was humans. Well, so much for wanting to get away from their fragility. They were everywhere, but this was their home after all so she couldn’t find it in herself to even be mildly annoyed by the lack of solace. That thought alone distracted her long enough to be unaware that she was being neared, fins perking up in an instant as she found herself peering over the banister with wide pupil-less eyes. Had he noticed her? It didn’t much matter now did it? Was it time for some kind of awkward introduction? “.... Hello there,” she spoke carefully, clawed fingers keeping her perched as she was but her ‘floating’ being what truly kept her from the water at the moment. “I got curious and decided to investigate this.. Boat, as you creatures call it. I didn’t mean to disturb you.”
