His hand found hers, forever familiar, and brought her fingers up to his lips, kissing them. "So, Alys... Will you be my valentine?"

Despite being as extra as can be, she didn’t expect a grand romantic gesture. Some flowers and chocolates, of course, but nothing out of the norm. Kian would probably be up to his usual antics -- sleeping the day away until the late hours of the afternoon. Though, if she’s learned anything these past two years, it’s that he’s full of surprises.

A romantic rooftop picnic a la Kian. In a world full of food, Alys preferred nothing more than his home-cooked meals. Great food, great company, and a great view. With her hands in his and lips pressed to her fingers, she knows she couldn’t have asked for a more perfect date.

It’s a little silly, come to think of it, asking despite knowing the answer. He’d put in the time and effort to surprise her. They’ve both put in the time and effort for each other. So, she brings his fingers up to her lips and returns the gesture with a kiss. “Forever and always.”
