it's been a long day. carol's not stopped since before sunrise. her body, mind and soul are beaten down but unable to switch off. instead? she ambles around the house like she's looking for something anything to do. a touch up there--a switch of sheets here. hell. she's even taken to making sure every scrap of laundry's done and yet? whatever bug is up her ass still isn't settling down for the night.

the door opens--and maybe that's the reason why? steve. her gaze switches from the duster in her hand (which she tucks away before she hears booted feet coming down the hallway) and bare feet climb down the ladder propped next to the window. she wipes her palms off on her jeans and walks out into the hallway to meet him.

only when she lays her eyes on him does the woman seem to, finally, breathe out a breath she's been holding all day. it makes a fallen strand of pale hair rise up from her face before falling back down. "oh. you shit. i didn't think a run'd take all of you that long. bout time you showed up." but she smiles, clearly glad that he's here and in one piece. her gaze flicks back and forth across those blue eyes and seems like both their hands lift.

"don't give me that look. you're still in trouble." his hands on her cheek. her's on his. a thumb caresses along his jawline before she moves her head forward careful not to jar his touch away. she doesn't want to lose it. a solid thunk and she rests it against his chest. "yep. still in trouble. i know it's not your fault. gotta start going further and further out but. damn. i hated not going." her turn to stay behind. to keep everyone out of trouble. and she hated every minute.

King Charles III has a really nice voice. I had never heard him speak but damn…..

This is not something I ever thought I'd read ahahahaah Charles has a deep voice which I personally have always liked in a man but the problem with Charles is that he speaks very softly and doesn't articulate much, he doesn't open his mouth much to speak which makes it sometimes difficult to understand what he says, if we add the accent… that's why his speeches are BORING, not necessarily because of what he says but because of how he says it, his voice ahahaahah

By accident I gave my cab driver 26 dollars. I went in my wallet to grab two 5 dollar bills and a 1, but instead I grabbed a 20 a 5 and a 1. I didn't realize it until I got in the house. I am so tired lately from my new job. Like I am physically exhausted. My legs, feet and arms hurt so bad and when I catch a cab home, the only thing I can think about is getting in the house and taking my shoes off. So, I guess this was my one good dead for the new year. Cause I don't do good deeds. Maybe the universe will bless me back. I can only hope. I just hope that women uses the extra money for something good and doesn't waste it on bullshit.
