and this is why i think mythal should not have been in this game. at all. she's written very shallowly and all of solas fuck ups are placed on her. instead of solas taking REAL accountability for what he did, he gets "redeemed" by being pardoned by mythal, which makes no sense because also you cant say "see its all mythal's fault actually" anf then do a 180 and say that actually its mythal who has to absolve him. what.
also i still think that mythal being pissed over solas killing her in DAI was weird because to me it almost felt like she was allowing it to happen but whatever.
it bothers me that solas's "redemption" is not something that happens slowly, throughtout the course of the game. that you can't just directly challenge him and through action, maybe show him how wrong he was. his redemption happens by you....convincing mythal or fighting mythal because guess what, it makes no difference she shows up anyways.
